Wilde Appointed to Manchester City Council’s Construction & Property Professional Services Framework

Wilde Consulting Engineers are delighted to announce that they have been appointed to Manchester City Council’s Construction and Property Professional Services Framework.

The Framework comprises several lots and Wilde, together with several national and international consultants, have been successful in being appointed to undertake civil and structural engineering design.

The award is a major achievement for Wilde who are the only small to medium enterprise (SME) to be appointed to the framework to undertake these services.

Wilde Consulting Engineers are a medium sized, local and independent firm of civil and structural engineering professional consultants and the majority of Wilde’s staff live in the Greater Manchester area. The framework award therefore aligns with Manchester City Council’s aims of boosting growth and job creation both locally and regionally in particular for small to medium enterprises.

The CAPPS Framework can also be used by other Greater Manchester and surrounding local authorities and Manchester City Council partners including regional emergency services and Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority.

Wilde Consultant’s Managing Director Shaun Tickle said:

“We are delighted to continue our working relationship with Manchester City Council on a framework of this size. Manchester City Council have shown that they are committed to utilising local resources to deliver local services and to making their contracts more accessible to SMEs. Our success in this framework will allow us to continue to re-invest into the local economy by appointing trainees, apprentices, technicians and engineers who all live in the Greater Manchester region.”
