Wilde Gives Back to Stockport Wildlife

“You will have really made a difference to a lot of people and wildlife today. I don’t usually get volunteers of this kind of numbers!” Kath Hughes, Neighbourhood Project Officer, Stockport Council

Last Friday was an amazing day for our team at Wilde! We spent the day at Woodbank Park in Stockport, where we teamed up to clean up the rubbish from in and around the river that passes through the park. It was a great opportunity for us to give back to our local community, especially as most of our team members are from Stockport and the surrounding areas.

– 11 tyres dug from the riverbed
– 2 tonnes of rubbish in total.
– Plenty of happy mallards.

At Wilde, we strongly believe in supporting our local community and making a positive impact. This experience has reminded us of the importance of preserving our environment and taking care of the world around us.
