Wilde Appointed to Transport for Greater Manchester’s ‘Transport Professional Services Framework’

Wilde Consulting Engineers have been appointed to the prestigious TfGM Transport Professional Services Framework.

The Framework comprises several lots and Wilde have been successful in being appointed to undertake:

  • Traffic engineering.
  • Civil engineering.
  • Structural engineering.
  • Transport-related civil and structural engineering advice and services.

TfGM currently spends an estimated £10 million per annum on transport-related professional services. The award is a major achievement for Wilde who is the only small to medium enterprise (SME) to be appointed to the framework to undertake these services.

Wilde Consultant’s Managing Director Shaun Tickle said:

“We are delighted to be working with Transport for Greater Manchester and the ten district authorities in Greater Manchester on a framework contract of this size. TfGM have shown that they are committed to utilising local resources to deliver local services and to making their contracts more accessible to SMEs.

Our success in this framework will allow us to continue to re-invest into the local economy by appointing trainees, apprentices, technicians and engineers who all live in the Greater Manchester region”.

TfGM is an executive body of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and works with Greater Manchester’s 10 district authorities, public and private sector partners and national and regional government to keep Greater Manchester moving, connecting people with jobs, healthcare, education and leisure.
