Highfield Parkway to A55

Client: Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council Location: Stockport

The Highfield Parkway to A555 shared-use footpath forms one of the links along the A555 which will link to the multi-user path that runs parallel to the carriageway.

The scheme provides a shared-use link between residential areas in the vicinity of Highfield Parkway, Bramhall and the existing multi-user path along the A555. Wilde Consultants provided feasibility and detailed design for the construction of the new shared-use path across Woodford Recreation Ground for Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council as part of the council’s new walking and cycling schemes under Greater Manchester’s Mayoral Challenge Fund.
