MAIN SERVICES:
Conversion and extension of existing steel portal framed building to suit the requirements of a data centre. The project involved a structural assessment of the existing steel frame and foundations for new loadings, and design of a new-build extension in the steel frame construction.
BIM was utilised throughout the building design, with modeling carried out in REVIT in collaboration with the Architect and M&E consultant. External works and below-ground drainage were also provided.
