Apprenticeships at Wilde Consultants Ltd
Build your engineering career with Wilde
An apprenticeship at Wilde Consultants Ltd offers a practical route into civil engineering, combining real project experience with structured learning and professional support.
As an award-winning, family-run consultancy founded in 1980, we’ve built our reputation on developing people. Our apprentices work alongside experienced engineers and technicians across highways, rail, civil infrastructure and structures, gaining skills that lead to long-term careers in the profession.
Whether you’re finishing school or looking for an alternative to full-time college or sixth form, an apprenticeship with Wilde allows you to earn while you learn, avoid student debt, and build experience from day one.
What is an apprenticeship at Wilde
Our apprenticeships combine college study, on-the-job learning and real engineering projects.
Depending on the role and team, apprentices typically:
- study towards a recognised Level 3 qualification on a day-release basis
- work within one of our technical teams from our UK offices
- learn directly from engineers and technicians on live projects
- develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to become a professional engineering technician
We offer apprenticeships across multiple disciplines, including:
- highways and transportation
- rail and infrastructure
- civil engineering and structures
Why choose an apprenticeship?
