Wilde are one of the largest independently owned consultancies in the UK, employing over 100 professional staff across our offices in London, Stockport and Liverpool. Due to continued growth and appointments to a range of framework contracts, including with universities, Network Rail and local authorities, we are looking to expand our Westminster Building Structures team.
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Structural Engineer to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of residential, educational, public and commercial building projects across the South East.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience within a structural engineering consultancy environment, although applicants with broader experience will also be considered.
The Role
The role will involve:
- Producing structural calculations and technical reports.
- Preparing detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assisting with the design and delivery of building structures projects.
- Supporting project delivery across a varied portfolio of schemes.
- Undertaking structural surveys and site inspections.
- Liaising directly with clients, contractors and design teams.
Experience with Revit would be advantageous, although not essential.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should:
- Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Have experience working within a structural design office/team.
- Be confident undertaking surveys and attending client meetings.
- Have working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.
- Be enthusiastic and keen to develop professionally within a growing team.
Working Arrangements
This role is primarily office-based within our Westminster office, with some flexibility available for the right candidate.
